Dedicated to the memory of Clive Mascord
Clive Mascord was born in Birmingham on 25 April 1953, the son of Cyril and Jean (Roots) Mascord. He died peacefully at his Woodbridge home with his wife Kristie by his side after battling lung cancer for nearly two years. Clive was much loved and will always be remembered.
He was survived by his wife Kristie; his children Andrew and Becky; two grandchildren Ethan and Blake; four brothers Glenn (Gillian) of Preston, Keith (Julia) of Tamworth, Nigel of Hastings and Stuart (Angela) of Hastings and sister Janet (Dave) Heasmer of Hastings; and many nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

Thoughts
Clive was an interesting man. He was not a man of many words, but was a man to be judged by his actions, his kindness was shown through practical means. I’ll never forget how he made dish upon dish of ‘ready meals’ for us when our babies were due, how he created fun and interesting treats for the kids and was always ready to play silly games with the younger members of the family. We all miss him.

I only met Clive a few times but he seemed a lovely man. It was a privilege to marry Clive and Kristie and such a special occassion

Clive was always there to lend a helping hand in the garden or with DIY projects no matter how tricky. He was a great favourite with the children, reading to them, making them special jellies or making them laugh. We spent many happy hours playing Mexican Train, which he usually won, and he kept Alan on his toes making sure we had the right beer in the cupboard. He put up a good fight for 2 years but now he is at peace. He will be sorely missed.
